Bedlington Enterprise Centre Opens
A new enterprise learning centre has opened in Bedlington. The Bedlington Enterprise Centre, located at Bedlington High School, is one of two new centres in the town.
Parents of our year 9 students are invited to come into school to discuss the option subjects for their child. The principal, Mr McGrane will welcome all parents on Thursday 11th March at 6pm in the school hall.

Year 10 students have shown their enterprising spirit by building a new seating area for other students to enjoy.
Students from West Sleekburn Middle School in Bedlington have swapped their exercise books for computer consoles to aid their learning.

Students from BCHS and WSM are fully engaged in Enterprise Week
Over 300 students from years 7,8 and 9 have taken part in an enterprise challenge day. The day, organised by Benet Enterprises, gave students an opportunity to visit local companies and businesses in the Wansbeck area.
The students started their day with a tour of local businesses, such as ray tek, a local company that started with only three staff and is now a leading light in the security camera industry. Students had the chance to ask local entrepreneurs what it takes to set up and run their own business. Over 20 local businesses worked with students including Ray Tek, Zodiac, Tesco and the Half Moon.
