Year 5 pupils visit Centre for Life in Newcastle as part of their science studies.
Pupils in Year 5 had a fabulous time when they visited the Centre for Life in Newcastle. There, they had the opportunity to explore recycling, electricity and visit the planetarium, where they learnt all about the constellations. They also had the chance to fly through space on a simulator, ducking and diving and trying not to crash into Jupiter! Everyone was fascinated by the experiments that took place using fire and ice. Afterwards, staff and students braved the ice and went ice skating, although many of the group ended up sitting on the ice rather than skating! Everyone had a memorable day, which they will never forget!
