Year 10 students have shown their enterprising spirit by building a new seating area for other students to enjoy.
The team of year 10 students successfully bid for funding from the WEEN, Wansbeck Education Network, to build social seating around the school.
The team have worked with a designer to design their own seating platform for other students to enjoy use term.
"We wanted to build a seating area that everyone could enjoy" Daniel, a year 10 student said.
The funding comes from WEEN who have supported similar projects at BCHS. Lindsey Dunn from the WEEN spoke about the work at Bedlington. "The students are working really well. They've put their own ideas together to build this seating area and with support from the WEEN, it will all come together."
