Kind hearted students donate all their Cottage pies to Bedlington Salvation Army.
A great day was had by all, when over 200 students, staff and outside agencies took part in our Cookathon where they made over 200 healthy cottage pies. The day was part of a national event organised by "Lets Get Cooking" , the extra curricular cooking club.
Students from Yr7 to Yr13 all got involved and we had students knocking at the door wanting to join in.
The cottage pies were then kindly donated to the Bedlington Salvation Army to be served at their luncheon club.
The event was supported by Healthy Schools, Extended Services, Asda Cramlington and Food Chain North East.
