Head coach of the Newcastle Eagles Basketball team, Fabulous Flournoy dropped into BCHS to demonstrate his skills and chat to students this week.
Fab Flournoy, who's originally from New York and has been player/coach with the Eagles since 2005 dropped in to speak to year 11 students and sixth form students. His motivational talk was well received by all of the students, who especially enjoyed watching his ball skills.
BCHS student Chris Brown was particularly keen to meet Fab, "He's an amazing player and a great coach, I wish I was as good at basketball as he is!" Chris said.
The visit was arranged by English teacher Mr Cooper was has also arranged for students from the school to watch the Eagles play at home.
