Dr Ernesto Sirolli, an Italian entrepreneur and author of the best-selling entrepreneur's book, 'Ripples from the Zambezi' has visited the new enterprise centre at Bedlington High School.
Dr Sirolli was delivering a training session to teachers from across Northumberland who are part the Northumberland Enterprise Learning Network. The network meets every term to discuss the development enterprise across the whole of Northumberland and to share good practice.
Dr Sirolli has been involved in leading enterprise development across the USA, Australia and Africa for many years and has been involved in developing entrepreneurship in Northumberland High Schools in September last year.
"It is a great pleasure for me to visit an area with some many enthusiastic staff and entrepreneurial students" He told us.
To mark the visit, assistant principal at BCHS, Will Close-Ash presented Dr Sirolli with a picture of the North-East. The image, taken by sixth form students, is one of the first images produced by a Bedlington enterprise group.
