A group of 20 senior leaders in Education from the Netherlands, including Head Teachers, advisors and teacher trainers, visited BCHS on Tuesday 23 September 2008 to observe and discuss how teachers are trained and developed in England.
There was a particular focus on the two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership project with Newcastle University, which has as its aim the development of an exciting new assessment framework for enquiry skills. All participants in the day, including both students and staff, were given the opportunity to discuss and share opinions on how the two systems compare. Findings will be used to inform future practice.
