School passes its OFSTED Inspection.

Staff and students are celebrating this week after BCHS passed its OFSTED inspection.

School Principal, Kieran McGrane told us about it. "The inspection is a chance for the students and staff to show how great BCHS really is. We had a team of four inspectors working with us and they were very pleased with what they've seen." The inspection report is on its way to parents and members of school community and will be available from the school website.

Students had an important part to play in making the inspection successful. In particular, sixth form students had the chance to chat with the inspectors about what they think of their school.

Newly appointed Senior Student, David Yearnshire, enjoyed the opportunity. "I had a very interesting chat with one of lead inspectors. They were very friendly and really interested all of the work we've done as a sixth form the raise the profile of the school here in Wansbeck".
