A group of sixth form students have organised an art gallery and sale at a local church hall in Bedlington this week. The students used pieces of work that they have produced over the year a long with other examples of work.
Head of art, Beth Lewins, told us about the project. "Our students were keen to get their work into the community so that members of public can admire and even purchase their work. It's a great way for young artists to build their portfolio and confidence".
The students raised money as part of an enterprise bid from the WEEN to help pay for the much needed materials to build frames, which added a touch of professionalism to their work.
